You cannot get a refund if you cancel your application or you’re not entitled to a passport.

How to pay
Depending on how you apply, you can pay by:

Fees for returning supporting documents
Your supporting documents (for example birth certificates) will be sent back to you free of charge by normal second class post.
curly lace wigsIt usually costs an extra £5 if you want your documents sent back by secure delivery. Choose this option on your application if you want to use it.
You can get or renew a British passportcurly lace wigs for free if you’re a British national and you were born on or before 2 September 1929.
You can use the Post Office Check and Send service for free if you apply with the paper form. You can also use secure delivery for free.
You must pay a fee if you need to get a passport urgentlycurly lace wigs or if you want a jumbo passport (50 pages instead of 34).
